When you use Hyper, we collect:
- Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication details (via Auth0)
- Conversation Data: Your messages and conversations with the AI coach
- Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe (we don't store your credit card details)
- Usage Data: Message counts, subscription tier, and feature usage
- Screenshots: Images you upload for analysis (if you're a Pro or Legend subscriber)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide personalized dating advice through our AI coach
- Remember your conversation history and context
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Improve our service and train our AI models
- Enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier
- Send important service updates (we won't spam you)
3. AI and Third-Party Services
Hyper uses OpenAI's GPT models to power the AI coach. Your conversations are:
- Processed by OpenAI's API under their data usage policies
- Stored in our secure database for conversation memory
- Used to improve our service (you can opt out by contacting support)
We also use:
- Auth0 for secure authentication
- Stripe for payment processing
- AWS for hosting and data storage
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is:
- Stored securely on AWS servers in the United States
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Protected by industry-standard security measures
- Never sold to third parties
5. Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: View your conversation history directly in the app
- Clear Your Chat History: Use the "Clear History" button in the app menu to permanently delete all your conversations while keeping your account
- Delete Your Account: Use the "Delete Account" button on your Account page to permanently delete your account and all associated data including chat history, screenshots, and preferences
- Opt Out: Stop us from using your data for AI training by contacting support
- Cancel Anytime: Cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings
6. Data Deletion
Hyper provides self-service data deletion directly in the app:
- Clear Chat History: Go to the menu (☰) and tap "Clear History" to delete all your conversations. Your account remains active.
- Delete Account: Go to your Account page and tap "Delete Account" to permanently delete your entire account and all associated data.
When you delete your account:
- All conversation history is permanently deleted
- All uploaded screenshots are permanently deleted
- Your profile and preferences are removed
- Active subscriptions are cancelled
- This action cannot be undone

We use minimal cookies to:
- Keep you logged in (via Auth0)

We don't use invasive tracking or sell your data to advertisers.
8. Children's Privacy
